In Memory of Sensei Leon
It was with deep pain and sadness that I received the news that Sensei Leon had passed away.
For me Sensei Leon was much more than an instructor and a close friend – for me he represented the heart and spirit of IOGKF. He was the person that would give everything a way – for the benefit of Higaonna Sensei and IOGKF.
Sensei Leon didn’t think of personal advantage – he put his whole life into development and protection of traditional karate – at the same time.
I have met many Karate Instructors in my life – but I have never met anyone like Sensei Leon – Sensei Leon was unique…
Even now when Sensei Leon has passed away – his spirit will live forever.
I hope he will be the star – which we all can set seals after in the dark ….
