Hello everyone,

We are happy to announce that in May of this year, we will hold the annual international gashuku with Sensei Nakamura, 8th dan, chief instructor for the IOGKF world organization and the head of the organization in Canada. Sensei Nakamura is among the most senior and excellent organization’s instructors in the world and training with him is an unforgettable experience. This year Sensei Nakamura will be joined in training by Sensei Linda Marchant from England, 7th Dan, the senior woman in the organization, and Sensei Turban Svendsen from Denmark, 7th Dan. Along with them will come many trainees from around the world!

The gashuku will be held on May 10-12, 2023

at Planetarium Netanya,

1 Sempo Sugihara St., Netanya.

Costs for those registered until April 15:

2nd degree Black belts and above – 560 NIS
2nd degree Black belts and above + Welcoming Party – 680 NIS
1st degree Black belts 1 – 460 NIS
1st degree Black belts 1 + Welcoming Party – 580 NIS
Students and youth of all Kyu (age 12 or older according to instructor’s approval) – NIS 380
Children (up to the age of 14) – 100 NIS

After April 15 the costs are:

2nd degree Black belts and above – 610 NIS
2nd degree Black belts and above + Welcoming Party – 730 NIS
1st degree Black belts 1 – 510 NIS
1st degree Black belts 1 + Welcoming Party – 630 NIS
Students and youth of all Kyu – NIS 420
Children (up to the age of 14) – 110 NIS

– With the instructor’s approval – children over the age of 12 will be able to register as youth and participate in the additional training sessions respectively.

– The training sessions on Wednesday (from 18:30-22:00) are open to black belts from other organizations (by invitation only and with the Kanbukai’s approval) at a price of NIS 280 per participant and upon presentation of a valid personal accident insurance certificate.

– Black belts – may choose to join the welcoming party with an additional 120 NIS.

Remarks

1. Payment by credit card only through the organization’s website (www.karateisrael.co.il)
2. Please arrive on time for training!
3. Don’t forget to bring notebooks.
4. Arrive with full Gi!
5. Participation of children and youth under the age of 18 is subject to parental approval.
