With deep sadness we’ve received the news of the loss of Sensei Leon Pantanowitz. Since 1987, in many different opportunities I had the honour to met him at IOGKF and other karate events, together with my students, we got to know a man full of good feelings, sincere, humble, warm and friendly to everyone. He had the gift to grasp and teach the essence of Goju Ryu simply and directly. And he had also the capacity of giving his advice with great wisdom and equity at the different situations that a big organisation, as IOGKF has to deal with.
We’ll really miss Sensei Leon, but we keep his memory in our hearts.
Our sincere condolences to his wife, a very kind person I had the pleasure to meet in Okinawa accompanying Sensei, to his family and students.
